Children will audition in groups of 10 or fewer in 35-minute time slots. Parents should sign children up to audition during one 35-minute time slot. The audition sign-up sheet will be available at the Woodbury High School main office welcome desk located at the front of the school, north side, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, Sept. 17 - 19.
Audition forms and sheet music may be picked up when signing up for an audition time. Parents should have the audition form completed and ready to hand in when their child auditions.
At auditions, all children should be prepared to sing the sheet music segment of the song “Food, Glorious Food.”
Boys who want to audition for the role of “Oliver” should also be prepared to sing the sheet music segment of the song “Where Is Love?”
Audition and casting information is available on the StarPlayers Musical Theatre website www.starplayerstheatre.com. Rehearsals for elementary students will be held, generally, from 4 to 5:30 p.m., two to three days per week. It is possible rehearsals may also be held a couple of Saturdays and evenings. Children will not rehearse every day of the week (Monday through Friday) until the final two weeks preceding the show.
