Jackie Witter of Woodbury will lead a four-part series of prayer programs at the Benedictine Center, 2675 Larpenteur Avenue, Maplewood.

Class fees from the programs will benefit charitable organizations. The cost is $10 per program.

“Praying for Those Who are Hungry” will be held Monday, Sept. 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. All fees and donations will be sent to the Feed My Starving Children organization.

Others in the series include “Praying for Those Without Shelter,” to be held this winter and benefiting Catholic Charities; “Praying for Those Suffering Drought,” to be held in spring benefiting Water Wells for Africa; and next summer, “Praying for Peace in Troubled Lands” benefiting Pax Christi International.

Witter designed the series to “invite people to reflect, talk about and pray for the greater good of the human family.”
