Sara Mortel and John Soma

Sara Lynn Mortel and John Bruce Soma were married Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Saint Rita’s Church in Cottage Grove with Father William Dezeil presiding. A reception followed at Afton Alps.

Parents of the bride are Chuck and Marsha Mortel of Cottage Grove and Bruce and Gloria Soma of Woodbury.

Sara graduated from Park High School in 1998 and the University of Wisconsin, LaCrosse in 2003. She currently teaches social studies at Roseville Area High School.

John graduated from Woodbury High School in 1996 and from Saint John’s University in 2000. He is employed at Woodbury High School as the activities director.

They reside in Woodbury.
