Letter: Thanks for helping Tiger

On Friday evening Aug. 15, my retriever mix dog Tiger and I went for a jog. My husband and two kids were close by riding their bikes. While on Lake Street, my dog collapsed.

My husband and kids took off for home on their bikes to get the van while I started carrying Tiger home, completely limp in my arms. At least 20 cars went by before a couple in a gray sedan stopped to help. Another woman in a white SUV stopped also. She called ahead to the U of M Hospital in Oakdale to let them know I would be coming in.

Thank you so very much for stopping to help, you guys! The staff at the hospital were ready and waiting for us.

Tiger is still in the hospital at the time of this being written. I just wanted to thank you for stopping and helping.
