..All for cheerleading stand up and holler

The City of Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department will offer a cheerleading clinic for children ages six – 12, Monday through Thursday, Aug. 18 - 21 from 9 a.m. until noon at Evergreen West Park, 1033 Tamberwood Trail. The fee is $70.

Participants will learn cheers, jumps, proper warm-up techniques, sportsmanship and leadership skills.

Attendees should wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. The new cheerleaders will demonstrate some of the skills they learn by performing for family and friends the last half hour of the last day.
