The Career Transition Connection (CTC) group of Woodbury Lutheran Church, 7380 Afton Road in Woodbury, will meet Thursday, Aug. 14 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. as featured speaker Catherine Breet-Byers presents “Four Simple Steps To Your Dream Job.” The event is free and open to everyone.

The forum provides time for networking, sharing success stories and a general exchange of information. The goal of the group is “to reach out for support to those people in career transition or thinking of transitioning, in a Christian support environment.” Breet-Byers brings more than 11 years of professional experience as a career coach and placement professional. It was her personal journey as a job hunter herself that caused her to put together a four-step job hunt process “to get through it.”
