Absentee voting for the Sept. 9 state primary election begins Aug. 8 and continues through Monday, Sept. 8. Woodbury voters who have a valid reason for voting absentee may vote in person at the Washington County Service Center, 2150 Radio Drive.

Absentee voting hours at the county service center are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additional hours for absentee balloting will be offered on Saturday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Voters also may vote absentee by mail. Call (651) 430-6175 to have an absentee ballot application mailed.

Applications also are available on the city’s Web site at www.ci.woodbury.mn.us. Under “City Government” in the navigation bar, select “Elections.”

No city offices will be on the primary ballot. However, voters will narrow the field of candidates seeking election to federal state, and county commissioner District 5 offices.

For more information about the primary election, absentee voting or voter registration, call Woodbury City Hall at (651) 714-3500 or Washington County at (651) 430-6175.
