Letter: They don’t think it’s too warm
As members of the St. Paul Ski Club, we disagree with the suggestion of Thom Peterson's cartoon printed in your July 16 edition.
As members of the St. Paul Ski Club, we disagree with the suggestion of Thom Peterson's cartoon printed in your July 16 edition — namely, that "it is a bit warm for the ski jump."
Our jumps, visible from I-494 and located just outside Woodbury city limits, feature patented technology where plastic fibers sprinkled with water serve as “snow” for summer jumping.
We currently jump Tuesday and Thursday evenings and have three weekend camps scheduled througho ut the summer.
