Qwest is ramping up its coverage in Afton, and soon about 85 percent of residents should have access to its services.
An update was given by councilmember Joe Richter at the city’s July 15 meeting.
He added that Qwest would consider expanding its DSL service further if a petition of more than 60 households in an unconnected area was submitted to the company.
