Mary Ryerse, School District 833 director of teaching and learning services, has resigned.
She has accepted a job with the State of Washington and Envictus Corporation to further develop Navigation 101, an initiative she has been working on for 10 years. Ryerse left her position June 30.
The school board approved a reorganization of Ryerse’s department to Department of Teaching and Learning to be headed by Rick Spicuzza, head of research, data and assessment.
Amy Schultz, district finance director for more than five years, accepted a position as director of business services for the Spring Lake Park School District beginning July 1.
Pending school board approval, current finance manager Aaron Bushberger will take Schultz’s position.
