The Woodbury Community Foundation (WCF) has announced a recent change of officers for its board of directors.
Newly elected officers for 2008-09 include Dick Krumm (RVK Architects), chair; Dixie Ewing (Edina Realty), vice-chair; Jim Widen (Associated Bank), treasurer; Terri McEnaney (Bailey Nurseries), secretary; and Dick Stafford (Washington County), past chair.
The WCF also recognized Ed LeClair (LeClair Corporation) and Pastor Frank Nelson (Woodbury Baptist Church) as retiring board members.
The Woodbury Community Foundation was established in 2003 “to connect people and organizations with causes that matter in order to strengthen our community for the benefit of all.”
To achieve the greatest impact, the WCF targets its grants toward specific areas. These currently include meeting the social service needs of its citizens, enhancing their health and safety and beautifying Woodbury.
Grants will be given once a year to those organizations serving the community of Woodbury.
