Tamarack Swamp Nature Preserve, located north of Valley Creek Road at Tower Drive in Woodbury, has more than 150 acres providing the area with an ecosystem that includes plant and animal diversity.
The Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District and the city of Woodbury will lead a free tour along the boardwalk and trails to identify plants and celebrate the seasonal beauty of the park on Thursday, July 10, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Interested parties should meet at the preserve parking lot at 1825 Tower Drive at 6:30 p.m. The tour leaves for the boardwalk at 6:40 p.m. and returns to the parking lot by 8:30 p.m.
