Woodbury actors are leads in Phipps’ ‘Grease’

“Grease,” the 1950s rock and roll musical, will be performed July 11 to Aug. 3 at the Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, Wis.

Danny Z. (Aleks Knezevich, Woodbury) is in love with wholesome Sandy D. (Jenna Vik, Woodbury), while gum-chewing, hubcap-stealing, hot-rod-loving boys pursue wise-cracking girls.

Nine performances will be given July 11 to Aug. 3 on Fridays and Saturdays (not July 19) at 8 p.m., as well as Sundays, July 20 and Aug. 3 at 2:30 p.m. on the main stage.

Tickets are $23 for adults and $16 for all students with a current ID, with a $2 discount for the opening weekend, and a $2 discount for seniors on the Sunday matinees. Discounts are available by purchasing season tickets.
