How to write your memoir

Evelyn Klein will teach “Taking Inventory: Memoir Writing with Evelyn Klein” at the R. H. Stafford Library for six weeks, starting July 8.

Evelyn Klein, a poet and writer who lives in Woodbury, will teach “Taking Inventory: Memoir Writing with Evelyn Klein” at the R. H. Stafford Library, 8595 Central Park Place, Woodbury on Tuesdays, from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. for six weeks, starting July 8.

Students will learn what a memoir is, look at brief examples, examine and develop techniques for drawing from experiences and “bring them to life” using various strategies in guided writing exercises.
