April Tapa and Don Coleman

April Tapa and PFC Don Coleman were married Thursday, May 8, 2008 in a ceremony at the home of the groom’s parents, Barbara and Steven Fenton of Woodbury. Judge Gregory Galler officiated. Jennifer Fenton, the groom’s sister, was maid of honor, and long time friend of the groom, Mark Severin, served as best man.

April is the daughter of Deborah Johnson, Wyoming, Minn., and granddaughter of Carl and Margaret Markell of St. Paul.

Coleman is stationed at Ft. Benning, Ga. After graduating basic training, he will attend Apache helicopter mechanic training in Ft. Eustis, Va.

The couple will also marry at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Oakdale, before Coleman is deployed in the fall.
