Welcome sign OK’d for Afton's south side

Visitors to Afton will be getting a real welcome as they arrive in the Old Village from the south.
The city council gave the thumbs-up to a recommendation by the design review committee to locate the sign on city land at the intersection of County Road 21 and River Road.
The sign at the north end of the Old Village was installed prior to May Fair, May 17-18.
