From May 1 to 12, the Woodbury office of Coldwell Banker Burnet sponsored its first “Community Clean Out,” a campaign to donate household items, hygiene and personal care, and clothing and shoes for family members to benefit Joseph’s Coat, a non- profit free store and support organization in St. Paul.

“Providing essential goods to disadvantaged individuals and families in need is Joseph’s Coat’s mission,” said Cheryle Carter, Realtor and creator of the Community Clean Out Campaign. “They were the perfect choice for this campaign. Woodbury residents responded enthusiastically and generously. It was a resounding success.”

Brian Bolier, branch vice president of Coldwell Banker Burnet’s Woodbury office, said, “We are proud of our rich traditions and deep local roots in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. A central tenet of our business is that we always give back to our communities and help those in need.

“Every year we support hundreds of community and charity programs. We work in partnership with the Minnesota Home Ownership Center, and donate to charities that help families and children.

“In addition, during the last six years, Coldwell Banker Burnet has donated more than 58,000 toys to Toys for Tots and other organizations through our exclusive ‘Trees for Toys’ program, which is a joint community service project supported by our sales associates, employees, and customers.”

More than 12,000 items were donated by Woodbury families and individuals to this campaign.

Bolier noted that the results of the company’s first Community Clean Out Campaign would not be possible without the partnership between the Woodbury residents and Coldwell Banker Burnet’s family of agents.

All donated items were delivered to Joseph’s Coat on May 13.

Coldwell Banker Burnet, a leading residential real estate brokerage headquartered in Edina, serves Minnesota and western Wisconsin. The company, which was founded in 1973, operates 26 offices and has more than 2,600 sales associates throughout the market.
