David C. Richards of Woodbury has joined Private Bank Minnesota as vice president and senior credit administration manager.
David C. Richards of Woodbury has joined Private Bank Minnesota as vice president and senior credit administration manager.
Richards is responsible for managing loan policies and advising senior management on credit culture issues.
With more than 30 years of banking experience, he has been a certified commercial lender since 1977. Most recently, Richards was the loan review services manager for the Financial Institutions Practice of Wipfli, LLP, one of the largest public accounting firms in the U.S.
Earlier in his career, he served on the staff of three major banks in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Richards has a B.A. in economics and business from Beloit College. He is a former instructor of the Commercial Lending School of the Wisconsin Bankers Association/AIB.
A member of RMA Robert Morris Associates since 1979, he was president of the Minnesota Chapter from 2000-2001 and president of the Wisconsin Chapter from 1983-1984.
He is also a former faculty member of the National Credit Department Management Workshop.
