Thompson joins Bremer Bank

Bremer Bank announces the hire of Mitch Thompson as an assistant vice president and business banker in Woodbury.

Bremer Bank, a regional financial services company jointly owned by its employees and the Otto Bremer Foundation, announces the hire of Mitch Thompson as an assistant vice president and business banker in Woodbury.

Thompson has nearly 10 years of experience in the banking industry ranging from personal banking, real estate mortgage lending and commercial lending. He previously worked at First National Bank in Hudson, Wis., which was acquired by Associated Bank in June 2007.

“Mitch comes to Bremer with tremendous banking industry experience,” said Jason Scott, market manager for Bremer Bank in Woodbury. “We look forward to having him on our team as we look to take action for our business banking clients and the Woodbury community.”

Thompson has a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from the University of Minnesota-Morris. He is a member of the Woodbury Chamber of Commerce and a board member for the Southeast Area YMCA.
