Postal Credit Union (PCU) will hold its second "Shred-N-Go Identity Theft Prevention" event on Saturday, May 3 at the Woodbury office, 8499 Tamarack Road.
This free event is intended to help prevent identity theft by shredding people’s personal documents in a safe and secure manner. PCU members and the community are invited to take part.
Shred-N-Go, PCU’s document destruction service provider, will volunteer its time and trucks for the event. Patrons can drop off their documents between 9 a.m. and noon and watch them get immediately shredded in a Shred-N-Go truck.
“The goal of this event is to provide the community with a free and safe way to dispose of their unneeded personal records,” said PCU President Russ Plunkett. “It also helps raise awareness about identity theft and how to prevent it.”
