Auditions for ‘Sound of Music’

Auditions for the Stillwater Community Theatre summer 2008 production of “The Sound of Music” will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, May 13 and 14, at Stillwater Area High School, 5701 Stillwater Blvd N.

Roles for up to 40 adults or teens and 15 youth (grades 2 and up) are available. Individual private auditions will be held every 5 minutes, and participants will be asked to sing a portion of a song from the show — accompaniment provided — and perform a short reading.

Copies of the music and readings are available at the School District 834 Community Education office at 1875 South Greeley Street in Stillwater, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All participants must bring a non-returnable photo and a schedule of time commitments for June and July.
