A drug store is looking to build over property left vacant after a Don Pablo’s closed late last year.
The Woodbury Planning Commission voted at its April 21 meeting to recommend approval for site plan application for CVS Pharmacy to develop a new store at 8466 Tamarack Bay, the site of the former Mexican restaurant.
CVS plans to construct a new 13,000 square-foot building in place of the existing vacant space. According to a city planning report, the pharmacy will feature a drive-thru.
The Woodbury City Council is expected to review the site plan in May.
