Letter: Tatreau responds to responses
Thanks to the letter writer (Bulletin, March 26) for accepting my apology. To the other letter writer, you raised the issue of representation.

Indeed, that is the salient issue — representation. The representatives we have now campaigned and were able to be elected by portraying themselves as “moderates.” Once elected, they did “one-eighties” and displayed their true colors.
Their almost $7 billion tax hike is anything but moderate.
So again, as the letter writer remarks and I exhort you, if you don’t like this bait, switch and tax maneuver which was so deftly executed on you, the taxpayer, then elect representatives in November 2008 like (Kathy) Lohmer and (Lee) Bohlsen who will keep your taxes low.
