Jennifer DeVries and David Marcotte

Jennifer DeVries and David Marcotte were married Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007 at King of Kings Lutheran Church, Woodbury. The reception was held at Prestwick Golf Course. The couple honeymooned in La Jolla and San Diego, Calif.

The bride’s attendants were maid of honor Kari Buendorf, sister of the bride; bridesmaids were Makayla DeVries, daughter of the bride; Katie Melby, sister of the groom; Jodie Holland, friend of the bride; and Tressa Gruenzner, friend of the bride. The flower girl was Kia Buendorf, the bride’s niece.

Best man was the groom’s friend Aaron Sustad. Groomsmen were Jeff Beckers, friend of the groom; Dave Wilson, friend of the groom; Andrew Melby, brother-in-law of the groom; and Hunter Marcotte, the groom’s son. The ring bearer was Devin Buendorf, nephew of the bride.

Ushers were Chad Buendorf and Ben Storlie, the bride’s brothers-in-law; Courtney Storlie, sister of the bride; and Kate MacKenzie, friend of the couple.

Jennifer is a first grade teacher at Minnehaha Academy. She is the daughter of Tom and Joyce Soderholm of Worthington, Minn.

David is the facilites manager at the Hilton, Minneapolis. He is the son of Paul and Sue Marcotte of South St. Paul.

The Marcottes reside in Woodbury.
