Dog licenses required

Dogs over the age of six months and residing in the City of Woodbury are required to be licensed.

Dogs over the age of six months and residing in the City of Woodbury are required to be licensed. Licenses must be renewed every two years and should be purchased prior to March 31, 2008.

The cost is $10 for neutered or spayed dogs; $18 for non-neutered or non-spayed dogs. Proof of rabies vaccination must be presented when purchasing the license.

Licenses may be purchased at the Woodbury Police Department, 2100 Radio Drive, during business hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or by mail to Dog License, Woodbury Police Department, 2100 Radio Drive, Woodbury, MN 55125. A copy of the proof of rabies vaccination from your dog’s veterinarian must also be submitted with payment. License applications may be printed by visiting www.ci.woodbury.mn.us, select: Police and Fire; Police; then scroll to Permits/Licenses.

Cats do not require a license, however ordinance regulations apply to cats as well as to dogs.
