NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Preserve Townhomes, LLC has submitted applications for a comprehensive plan amendment, rezoning, amended PUD, preliminary plat, and final site and building plan for a project named The Classic at the Preserve III. The applicant is requesting to build two apartment buildings within the existing complex with a total of 126 new rental units. The property is located at the northwest corner area of Guider Drive and Bielenberg Drive. The majority of the property is zoned R-4, Urban Residential and is guided as High Density Residential on the Land Use Plan. The portion of the property which requires rezoning is the easternmost corner which requires a change from B-3 “Shopping Center” to R-4 “Urban Residential”. This corner will also require a comprehensive plan amendment which would change the land use from “Places to Work” to “High Density Residential”.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Woodbury City Council has scheduled a public hearing to review the request for the application. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at 7:30 p.m. at Woodbury City Hall, 8301Valley Creek Road.
The purpose of the hearing is to provide citizens the opportunity to comment on the proposed application. Individual citizens or representatives of organizations are encouraged to submit written comments prior to the hearing.
All interested parties will be heard.
