Dig out your mini-skirt and your kitten heels: Woodbury High is going back to the ‘60s.
Now celebrating its 10th year, the Woodbury High School “Coffeehouse” talent show promises the audience an evening to remember.
This Saturday, Woodbury High’s cafeteria will be transformed into a lively coffeehouse, as 15 student acts entertain guests with songs and dancing — all on the theme of the 1960s.
“It’s an opportunity to see the talent of Woodbury High School and have a good time, enjoying the theme and the environment,” said Karin Rasmussen, a senior who is in charge of the show’s publicity.
It’s all in the name of a good cause, too.
All the money raised from the sale of the Feb. 23 event’s $5 tickets and the sale of refreshments, which have been donated by Caribou, Brueggers, Culvers and Chipotle, will be split between an African orphanage and Woodwinds Hospital.
The show starts at 7 p.m.
