Bernice H. Groebner, beloved wife, mom, grandma, dear friend, age 76.
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a brief and courageous battle with colon cancer on Feb. 3, 2008.
Preceded in death by parents, Andrew and Marian Hoverstad. Survived by husband, James F.; children, Pamela (Byron) Crouse, Rebecca (Jerome) Capecchi, Sarah (Charles W.) Laudenbach, Jim (Carla), Martha (Jim) Kessens; grandchildren, Andrea Bernice and Dan Crouse, David (Sara), Luisa and Michael Capecchi, Kevin and Geri Laudenbach, Anna and Ashley Groebner, Evan, Thomas and Christine Kessens; brothers, Herbert, Norval, and Arne Hoverstad; sisters, Mary Japs and Carolyn Gardiner.
Many people, especially children and grandchildren, took joy in wearing her lovingly-made gifts.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Feb. 8 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 8260 Fourth Street, Oakdale.
