Art St. Croix to hold exhibit

Art St. Croix will hold its 2008 "Living Creatively" show, the third annual art exhibit of creative work by visual artists, writers, music composers March 1 to 30 at the Lake Elmo Regional Art Center

Art St. Croix will hold its 2008 "Living Creatively" show, the third annual art exhibit of creative work by visual artists, writers, music composers March 1 to 30 at the Lake Elmo Regional Art Center, 3585 Laverne Avenue North, Lake Elmo.

The center will be open Wednesday through Sunday afternoons and Thursday evenings, and is fully wheelchair-accessible.

There is no admission charge, but donations are welcome.

There will be an opening reception at the center with entertainment and refreshments where the public can meet the artists on Sunday, March 2, from 2 to 4 pm.

Artists are invited to submit up to five entries in any medium. The deadline for submissions is Feb. 22.

Art St. Croix is a grassroots community organization that offers opportunities in the arts for adults with disabilities in the St. Croix Valley.

Previous events have included the two earlier “Living Creatively" exhibits and four literary reading days called “In Your Words or Theirs.”

Art St. Croix also offers ongoing art classes around the St. Croix Valley area.
