CPR training

Registration is open for the City of Woodbury Parks and Recreation sponsored safety classes CPR & First Aid Basics for Child CPR, and First Aid Basics for Coaches. The fee for all classes is $31 per person. Classes will be held at City of Woodbury La Lake Retreat Center, located at 6784 Military Road.

n CPR & First Aid Basics classes for Child CPR will be held Tuesday, Feb 12 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Infant CPR classes are offered Wednesday, Feb. 20 or Feb. 27 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Participants must be ages 13 and up.

Learn how to react to emergency situations and receive practice and certification for Red Cross rescue breathing, obstructed airway, basic first aid, and CPR procedures. After successful completion of skills, written exam and class attendance, you’ll be Red Cross-Certified in the given area.

n First Aid Basics for Coaches will be offered Monday, March 3 from 6 to10 p.m. Youth sport coaches will be taught how to treat field injuries and will learn about biohazard precautions, asthma and anaphylactic reactions.
