Council appoints police officer

The Woodbury City Council voted to approve the appointment of Allen Olson to the position of police officer.

Olson earned his associates degree in law enforcement from Inver Hills Community College and a law enforcement skills certificate from Minneapolis Technical College. He currently works as a police officer for the city of Newport.
