East Ridge boys swimming & diving: Raptors earn fifth-straight win

The East Ridge Raptors boys swimming and diving team earned its fifth-straight win after beating Suburban East Conference rival Roseville on Thursday, Jan. 26. In the meet, East Ridge placed first in every event and won the competition with a final score of 102-76.

Last week’s victory brings the Raptors to 6-1 in the Suburban East Conference.

Raptors head coach Steve Webb said that the team is preparing for the two remaining meets in the season— one against Cretin-Derham Hall on Thursday, Feb. 2, and the last against Hastings on Feb. 9— before going on to compete in the sectional preliminary competitions.

Webb added that the Raptors were looking forward to the latter end of their season and are enthusiastic about competing in their last two conference meets, in which they expect to do well.
