Monsters and other critters in Central Park?
A group of young artists tried their hand at drawing spooky monsters during a Monday evening art class held at Central Park.
An instructor from Young Rembrandts-Twin Cities gave step-by-step instructions for budding artists ages 6-12, and students took home their finished masterpieces.
The classes focused on drawing characters and objects of all shapes and sizes, as well as in different poses.
The four students participating in the Nov. 7 class drew a frightening bat in mid-flight and Frankenstein.
Woodbury Parks and Recreation runs the program and offers a new theme to the drawing classes every two weeks.
More information about the classes is available on the city's website.
