Woodwinds again listed among nation's top hospitals
It's an award that never gets old.
Woodwinds Health Campus was listed in the top 100 hospitals in the nation for the third time by Truven Health Analytics, formerly known as the health business of Thomson Reuters.
"We're honored once again to be recognized as a 100 top hospital and receive the Everest Award for the first time," said Scott North, senior vice president and president of acute-care hospitals at HealthEast, which includes Woodwinds.
The Everest Award recognizes the highest rate of improvement over five years.
"For us at Woodwinds, it started with connecting with the community and finding out what they wanted," North said. "We continue to connect every day at HealthEast with the community with our vision for health and well-being for our patients, our community and ourselves. I believe that Woodwinds and HealthEast will continue to make a positive impact on the people in our communities. "
