Woodbury's splash pad equipment on order
Woodbury’s splash pad is becoming a reality.
Woodbury City Council accepted a $387,500 bid by Peterson Companies, Inc. to prepare the site and install the equipment for the new summer attraction.
The council decided to add a new splash pad last year as part of the newly remodeled Bielenberg Sports Center complex.
The city is partnering with Madison Claire Foundation to also install all-accessible playground equipment at the site that will be dubbed Madison Claire Playground.
Part of the funding will come from the city’s park dedication fund. The rest of the playground funding for the site will be provided by Madison Claire Foundation, which continues to raise money and is currently halfway through the amount needed to install the equipment.
