Woodbury woman's royal quest fulfilled

For the past several years, Woodbury native Christine Schrader has been the one behind the gowns of the Woodbury Ambassadors and the St. Paul Winter Carnival.

But this year, she’s turning in her needle and thread for a tiara now that she has been named the 2014 East Wind Princess of the St. Paul Winter Carnival.

“I was making the costumes when quite a few friends told me I should try it out,” the 1998 Woodbury High School graduate said.
