CITY OF WOODBURY

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the United Methodist Church has submitted an application for a Preliminary Plat. The applicant is requesting to subdivide their existing two (2) parcels into three (3) parcels. The property is located at 7581 Steepleview Road. No further construction is proposed with this application. The property is zoned R-4, Urban Residential District and is guided as Urban Residential on the Land Use Plan.

The application includes the following described real estate lying and being in the City of Woodbury, County of Washington, State of Minnesota to wit:

PARCEL 4

That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 17, Township 28, Range 21, Washington County, Minnesota, described as beginning at the northeast corner of said Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence west along the north line thereof 295.25 feet; thence south at right angles 295.25 feet; thence east and parallel with the north line of said Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter to the intersection with the east line of said Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence north along said east line to the point of beginning.

PARCEL 5

That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 17, Township 28, Range 21, Washington County, Minnesota, described as beginning at the northwest corner of said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter; thence east along the north line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter 330.00 feet; thence south and parallel with the west line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter 544.50 feet; thence west and parallel with the north line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter 330.00 feet to the west line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter; thence north along said west line 544.50 feet to the point of beginning.

The north 709.50 feet of the west 495.00 feet of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter, as measured along the west and north lines thereof, Section 17, Township 28, Range 21, Washington County, Minnesota, except the two following described parcels:

That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 17, Township 28, Range 21, Washington County, Minnesota, described as beginning at a point on the north line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter distant 330.00 feet east from the northwest corner thereof; thence east along said north line of 165.00 feet; thence south and parallel with the west line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter 264.00 feet; thence west and parallel with the north line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter 165.00 feet; thence north and parallel with the west line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter 264.00 feet to the point of beginning.

PARCEL 8

All of Block 26, Woodview Acres Second Addition, according to the recorded plat thereof, and situate in Washington County, Minnesota.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Woodbury City Council has scheduled a public hearing to review the request for the application. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. at Woodbury City Hall, 8301Valley Creek Road.

The purpose of the hearing is to provide citizens the opportunity to comment on the proposed application. Individual citizens or representatives of organizations are encouraged to submit written comments prior to the hearing.

All interested parties will be heard.
