Woodbury Puppet Wagon kicks off another season

Dozens of kids came out for Woodbury Puppet Wagon's preview party June 7 at Kinderberry Hill Child Development Center. The Woodbury Puppet Wagon has been putting on shows at Woodbury's neighborhood parks for the past 29 years.

It's a sunny afternoon in Woodbury.

Maybe you and your kids are playing on the playground or having a picnic at one of the neighborhood parks. The next thing you know, you see a wooden house rolling into the parking lot. The structure, decorated with Sesame Street characters, is home to some summertime friends.

It's Woodbury's Puppet Wagon.

The Puppet Wagon held a preview party June 7 at Kinderberry Hill Child Development Center. The June 7 show simulated a trip to the zoo.

The Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department-sponsored Puppet Wagon has been putting on shows in community parks for the past 29 years.

The puppet wagon visits 23 parks for eight weeks during the summer
