In fact, only one skater - Mike Blumel - is on the World Cup team who was not in Vancouver. Mike is a 2005 Woodbury High School Graduate. Heerenveen, Netherlands hosts the first World Cup meet Nov. 12-14. From there, stops in Germany, China, and Japan dot the schedule before the series comes to Salt Lake City Feb. 18-19. The World Cup final takes place in Heerenveen at the beginning of March.

The U.S. Single Distance Championships that took place in Milwaukee last weekend, finalized the U.S. roster for the seven ISU World Cups, along with the series final.
