Woodbury man injured in N.D. motorcycle accident

The North Dakota Highway Patrol responded to an injury accident involving a Woodbury motorcyclist last Friday.

Nicholas Fischer, 24, Woodbury, was eastbound on a Yamaha motorcycle at 6:55 p.m. May 29 on I-94 near 45th Street South in Fargo, N.D., following his mother, Delene Goehring, 50, of Pelican Rapids, Minn., who was driving a Honda car.

Traffic was backed up and almost to a complete stop due to rush-hour traffic, and roads were wet.

Fischer lost control of his motorcycle when he attempted to stop. It slid on its left side into the rear of his mother's car. He was taken to Innovis Health in Fargo.

Information on his condition was unavailable.
