Chanhassen senior Cody Seal won the state title with a 143. Seal shot a 73 on the first day and a 70 on day two. Eden Prairie won the team championship with a 609 four-person total, edging Wayzata (610) and Forest Lake (618).

To earn a trip to state, Myers scored a 155 at the two-day Section 3AAA golf championship, played between Goodrich Golf Course in Maplewood and Bunker Hills. As a team, the Woodbury boys finished in third place in the section with a 646 two-day total score. Hastings won the section title, edging East Ridge by two strokes. The Woodbury girls didn't advance a golfer to state this year.

The Woodbury girls graduate two seniors - Katie Moore and Alexandria Haces - while the boys lose nine seniors: Myers, Tom Swedenborg, Alex Hochstetler, David Khazanovich, John Pape, Zachary Schafer, Ben Smith, Charlie Snyder and Joey Weeker.
