Woodbury girls swimming & diving: Royals sink Hastings 100-86

The Woodbury girls swimming and diving team defeated Hastings 100-86 on the road in its most recent meet.

First and second place finishes came from the 200-yard medley relay and 200-yard freestyle relay teams of Taylor Brooks, Ana Sortland, Lucia Rizzo and Kristina Swanson, Sortland in the 200-yard freesyle and 100-yard breaststroke, Taylor Brooks in the 100-yard freestyle, Sydney Swanson in the 100-yard backstroke and Kristina Swanson in the 50-yard freestyle.

Also, Woodbury went 1-2-3 in the diving competition, with Meghan Miller taking first place (204.10 points), Rose Peterson earning second (177.70 points) and Erin Brino placing third (161.40).

The Royals swim and dive their final dual meet of the season on Thursday against Forest Lake at home. The meet begins at 6 p.m.
