Woodbury gets taste of 'Oz' in community theater play

Woodbury Community Theatre put on a production of "The Wizard of Oz" Friday, July 13 through Sunday, July 15. The show continues this week on Thursday, July 19 and concludes on Saturday, July 21. Tickets are available on Woodbury Community Theatre's website or on the day of the show at the door.

Oz is full of life and brings smiles to audience members of all ages. The singing and dancing is energetic and the actors are engaging. To many, the show brings back childhood memories as Dorothy, played by Christina Berget, reminds the audience that there is no place like home.

On Sunday, July 15 there was an opportunity to get autographs and take pictures with Dorothy and her friends from Oz. Some children dressed up as characters from the story when they attended the meet and greet.
