Woman's threatening note forces dental clinic employees to evacuate office
Woodbury police are looking for a woman who left a threatening note at the front desk of a dental clinic causing its evacuation Tuesday afternoon.
Woodbury Public Safety officials have identified the woman and are planning to issue a warrant for her arrest. Police would not reveal her identity to the Bulletin, citing that investigation of the incident is still active.
The incident was reported to police by employees at the Health Partners Dental Clinic at 8325 Seasons Parkway at 2:08 p.m.
Witnesses told police the woman left the note at the front desk of the clinic and then fled the scene on foot.
Woodbury police responded to the scene and evacuated the building while checking the area for any possible safety threats, said Capt. Kris Mienert, of the Woodbury Public Safety Department.
Police finished their search of the building and allowed employees to return to the office around 3:45 p.m.
"We did not find anything suspicious in nature except for the note," Mienert said.
Mienert said the woman is not a Woodbury resident. Police plan to pursue charges of terroristic threats, she said.
