Winners decided in 833 School Board race

Razor-thin margins separated winners from losers Tuesday in the 14-way race for District 833 School Board’s four-year seats that returned two incumbents to the board.


According to unofficial Secretary of State figures, winners for the four open four-year seats were St. Paul Park resident Katie Schwartz, incumbent Tracy Brunnette of Cottage Grove, fellow incumbent and Newport resident Katy McElwee-Stevens and Sharon Van Leer of Woodbury.
