Williams added to lawyers association
Gerald O. Williams was recently admitted into the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (IAML).
The IAML is a worldwide association of practicing lawyers who are recognized by their peers as expert family law specialists in their respective countries.
Williams has practiced exclusively divorce and family law for 15 years, handling all aspects of these cases in Minnesota district and appellate courts.
His practice includes interstate and international child custody and child support cases, as well as paternity, grandparent rights, third party custody and family law appeals.
He is executive vice president of the Minnesota Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, recurring author for the Minnesota Association for Justice and an investigator for the Hennepin County Bar Association Ethics Committee.
Williams received his undergraduate degree from the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio, and his law degree from the University of Minnesota.
