With co-head coach Merridith Duellman on pregnancy watch, the Royals went on to blow away the field with a score of a score of 328 -- the host Ponies took second with 348.

Mary Sweeney and Jackie Rolando paced WHS with each carding a 79, with Chelsey Larson firing an 84 and Anna Hagemeier an 85 to account for the Royals' score. Sarah Strand also shot an 86, with Jess Swanson coming home with a 97.

Five of the six WHS golfers earned All-Conference nods, the lone exception being Swanson -- who missed the cut by one stroke and claimed an All-SEC honorable mention nod.

The tournament was the final postseason tune-up for the Royals, who will take to Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids on June 2 to defend their Class AAA championship in the state tournament.

Woodbury enters the championship meet as the No. 1-ranked team in Class AAA against a field that includes Lakeville North, Stillwater, Spring Lake Park, Eden Prairie, Edina, Grand Rapids and Alexandria.
