The latest crop of graduates from Woodbury was set loose on the world over the weekend.

On Saturday, the 356 graduates from East Ridge High School were conferred at the school. A day later, Woodbury High School's 482 graduates received their diplomas at Aldrich Arena in Maplewood.

The ceremony at East Ridge represented the first graduating class to have spent all four years at the school.

"this is the real first graduating class of East Ridge High School," Principal Aaron Harper said during commencement ceremonies.

At the WHS ceremony, valedictorian Eddie Liu delivered remarks before teacher Thomas Racine took to the podium. John Pape and Elizabeth Sampson were WHS' senior speakers.
