UPDATE: Autistic Woodbury teen still missing
Woodbury Minnesota 8420 City Centre Drive 55125

Michael Konkler, the autistic Woodbury resident who has been missing since July 10, remains unaccounted for, according to authorities.

Woodbury Public Safety public information officer Michelle Okada said Thursday that Konkler, 19, has not been located. Police believe he walked away from his home on White Eagle Drive on July 10 and hasn’t been seen since.

Authorities continue to fear that Konkler, a 6-foot tall, 215-pound man, may have gotten himself into a potentially dangerous situation, Okada said. Police continued to check on unconfirmed information that Konkler has left Minnesota.

Woodbury police detectives have stayed in regular contact with Konkler’s parents. Police request that anyone with information about Konkler contact detective Paul Torguson at 651-714-3650.

Konkler’s disappearance marks the second time this year authorities have searched for the man. In April, Konkler was reported missing after leaving his workplace in White Bear Lake. He was later returned to his parents in Woodbury.
