Too warm: City of Woodbury temporarily closes outdoor ice skating facilities
Unseasonably warm temperatures will ground outdoor ice enthusiasts in Woodbury for today, at least.
The city of Woodbury announced this morning that outdoor skating rinks and warming houses are closed "due to warm weather and ice conditions," according to an email from the city.
The email did not state when the facilities would re-open.
Today's rainy conditions will lead to a mix of freezing drizzle later today and Friday, before possibly turning to snow, according to the National Weather Service.
